Ways To Save Money Shopping Online

I don’t know about you but I do a lot of my shopping online now. It’s just easier and generally you get more choice and collections online. While we’ve been doing up our house we’ve bought pretty much everything online. Here are some ways to save money shopping online.

Ways to save money shopping online: Search for codes

If like me you hate paying full price for anything then search around for voucher codes. You can download a browser plugin called Honey which will search for the codes for you. You just add it to your taskbar and click on it to look for vouchers/ codes before you purchase.

There are so many different vouchers and codes out there that you never know what might pop up.

Save your items on Shoptagr

One of the easiest ways to save money shopping online is to save items in Shoptgar. If it’s something you’re not looking to buy there and then you can save it and be notified when the item goes on sale. This is especially useful for larger items, or items from sites you know do sales. You can choose to be selected when the item goes on any type of sale, or anything more than a certain percentage.

I remember saving a mirror from Oliver Bonas on the app when it was £55. I couldn’t justify that much but eventually it went down to about £30. I didn’t end up buying it, but it gave me the choice to buy it much cheaper.

Ways to save money shopping online: Use Quidco or a cashback app

While this isn’t saving money when you first buy an idea you can save/ make money over time by using cashback sites. A lot of sites will offer you cashback for buying from them and this can range from about 0.5% through to about 10% I’ve seen. This also includes big cashback offers for phone/ internet deals as well. The money might not seem like much to begin with but it all adds up. Especially if you’re buying a lot like we are during our home renovations.
